The existing property included a one-hundred year old de-commissioned printing company building with old elevator shafts, three foot thick concrete walls and semi-functional mechanicals.  After the property was purchased work commenced on both the interior and exterior renovations. The structure was converted into a modern, climate controlled self-storage facility which serves all the businesses and residential needs in the Journal Square city center.  This redevelopment was written up in the NY Times as a significant catalyst to the center city redevelopment project.
